school now is like running a marathon at Olympics.
All the competitors start from the same starting point, have almost equal amts of training, experience, and physical strength. Towards the end of the race, it all boils down to the differing levels of mental strength that sets apart one competitor from another.
there are those with high mental strengths who will be ahead and some eventually winning the race, breaking some record. there are those who are trying their best to keep up to the pace set by those ahead, all they probably ask for is not a new world record but for a new personal best. but there are also those who are mentally weaker/weak who will eventually find it hard to keep up, slow down, fall far behind and even give up on running the race.
sad but this is how school goes. performance is not based on own ability, but relative to how others perform.
i am running this 4month long marathon and am through with 3 weeks.
MENTAL STRENGTH IS KEY!

Olympics just has to happen at this time of the year isn't it! when school has just started. and what's worse, i love to watch the swimming events and finals are ALWAYS held in the morning when i have lessons! how irritating. though i must say Phelps is incredible. his swims are always so sensational! i am so impressed.
sigh, school is back. again. holidays felt like nothing at all. but still im rather glad i took up special sem. lol. in any case, i can foresee a mad sem ahead. as usual!
